I’ve been a BetVictor customer for years now so I have a pretty clear understanding of what this sportsbook and online casino offers. I’ve taken this one step further though and used my experiences to create a BetVictor review.
Over the years, I’ve always had solid experience with BetVictor - I started on the sportsbook and it has a superb range of markets. When they added the online casino I’ve always enjoyed the variety of games and promos too. If you want to learn more, you can check out my full breakdown below.
We’ve done a full breakdown of the BetVictor promos in a separate article, but I want to at least explain the welcome bonus. Well, I say bonus, there is actually 4 different welcome offers to choose from that cater to different types of customers:
For each of these offers, there is no BetVictor promo code UK, but you must meet the requirements, i.e. make your initial bet or casino wager within 7 days of registering your new account.
For the different bonus bet offers, you only get credited with your bonus bet when your initial bet is settled, and it doesn’t count if you use the cash out feature. The original stake is non-withdrawable for your bonus bets and you only get to keep any winnings you make.
Wagering requirements for the 3x different casino bonus funds you get is 40x before you can withdraw them. The bonus spins on Fishin’ Frenzy are valued at £0.10 each and as far as I can see, there aren’t any wagering requirements for winnings you make from them.
Please be aware that you can only pick ONE of these bonuses! I went for the generic sports welcome offer, but think about which one you think you will get the best value and entertainment from before opting in.
I’m a big fan of the BetVictor website and I’ve actually been registered here for several years now because I am a Spurs supporter so I like Harry Redknapp! I think it’s just got a neat and compact layout that is incredibly easy to follow. The outsides of the site have a dark grey color scheme, while the central section is white - I know this is a simple thing, but that contrast splits the page up nicely and allows you to understand the flow of the info better.
This style persists for both the BetVictor casino UK section and the sportsbook, with the primary navigation down the side staying the same too. You then get a secondary navigation for different things like sports categories and casino game categories below the website header in a vertical band. I like this as it keeps things organized and means you can find what you want within that specific section easily.
Like The Pools UK, this site has a minimal use of graphics too which I like. You aren’t overpowered by a wave of flashy animations or graphics - just a few simple scrolling header images and casino game thumbnails.
When you use the sportsbook, the main betting info for the different sports categories is displayed in the middle, and your bet slip is in the top right-hand corner. This is a pretty standard layout for sportsbooks and anyone who has used one before will find it convenient and easy to understand.
The only small improvement I think could be made is the layout of the game thumbnails in the online casino - sometimes they feel a little cramped.
I prefer mobile gaming and I like being able to use in-play betting while I’m watching footy or basketball so I always download the mobile app if available. BetVictor has a mobile app for Android and iOS and you can download it from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Before I downloaded the app I checked for ratings - it has only a 3.1 star rating from 4,100+ reviews on the Google Play Store, but a much higher 4.7 star rating from over 46,000 reviews on the App Store! I read through many of the comments on the Google Play Store and most of them were basically people complaining about being unsuccessful at the online casino and expecting to win every spin or hand they play!
My experience with the Android App for my Samsung smartphone was pleasant. I think the app works smoother than the desktop website and both the sportsbook and online casino are easy to use. I like the search function and category filters for the online casino games, and the sportsbook has been condensed to work flawlessly on mobile devices.
I did have a few lag issues with some of the live dealer games, but I’ve never not been able to play a round or missed out on a potential payout because of connectivity. Over the years I’ve also found the in-play sports betting feature to work fine on smartphones. Concerning the negative comments about winning - I’ve won plenty at the casino, and I’ve also had stretches of losses - this is just how things sometimes go, so there is no perfect strategy.
Unlike BetFred UK and many other UK sportsbooks and online casinos, BetVictor actually supports crypto and fiat payment methods. I stuck with the fiat payment options and these include PaySafeCard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Debit Card, Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Skrill, Neteller, and Trustly.
I made several deposits using PayPal and Visa Debit - the process was smooth, there were no deposit fees, and my account was credited instantly each time. Payment verification is available but this depends on your payment provider.
The minimum withdrawal limit is £10, and approval can take up to 24 hours. Visa and ewallet withdrawals are the fastest and are generally processed in 1-3 business days, while bank transfer is slower and can take 3-10 business days. Depending on the value of your withdrawal you may be required to pass an additional ID verification check.
I think that you’ll be able to get on at BetVictor UK without needing support, but it’s always a great idea to understand the different available options. If you click on the “Contact Us” button in the left hand menu of the site you’ll get links to the following support options:
I tested each of these support methods and thought that the live chat was the most effective. The email tickets gave the slowest response times, and if you use social media regularly then I think you’ll benefit from the Facebook and X options.
If you choose the live chat option it opens one of the typical multi-support boxes as I call them. This has a heap of FAQs and help center topics, but you can also choose to start a new message with the support team. They state that responses from live chat can take up to 30 minutes, but the longest I waited when I tested it was 10 minutes during peak hours.
I actually started with the help center first as this works as a subdomain to the BetVictor website. There are hundreds of help articles for main categories such as sports, casino, bingo, safe gambling, verification, and payments. I checked out several of the articles about payments and found them to be informative and well-written.
BetVictor is a fully licensed sportsbook and online casino with gambling licences from the UK Gambling Commission and Gibraltar Gambling Commission. The site and app are owned and operated by BV Gaming Limited which is a registered company in Gibraltar. BV Gaming Limited is the parent company for several other well-known UK gambling brands including Parimatch, Betano, Heart Bingo, and TalkSPORT BET.
For security, you connect via a secure HTTPS connection with SSL encryption, and at the time of writing this BetVictor review there was a valid SSL certificate. The site has a third-party complaints mediator - IBAN, and it is also part of the International Betting Integrity Association. BetVictor works with the GAM STOP and GameCare responsible gambling organizations, and has plenty of responsible gambling info and tools throughout its site.
So you understand how the site works and your rights, there is a detailed privacy notice, terms and conditions, a fairness policy, and a cookies notice.
Other BetVictor reviews I’ve read point towards the lack of a VIP program and I couldn’t find one either. I don’t think this is an issue though as instead of a VIP program or loyalty rewards, this UK sportsbook and online casino has a range of recurring promotions and rewards for existing customers anyway, including:
Whatever you want to bet on,I guarantee you’ll be able to find it at BetVictor. This includes some weird markets that don’t really fall into the traditional sports categories. The complete list is as follows:
American Football, Aussie Rules, baseball, basketball, beach volleyball, boxing, cricket, cycling, darts, entertainment, eSports, football, Formula 1, futsal, Gaelic football, golf, greyhounds, handball, horse racing, hurling, ice hockey, MMA, politics, rugby, snooker, squash, table tennis, tennis, virtual sports, volleyball, and water polo.
I know how detailed the betting markets for the different sports can be too as I’ve placed plenty of NBA and EPL wagers in my time. You’ve got traditional markets like outright winner, spreads, line bets, and over/unders, but a solid selection of props bets too. Accas and bet builders are possible for multiple sports, and I’ve always found the bet slip easy to manage.
I think the Lucky Dip section is worth checking out too as BetVictor has a range of random picks on various sports. You make your pick, enter your wager amount, and then a random set of odds are generated - you have chances to pull some epic prizes here, although that is not guaranteed.
For this BetVictor review I looked further than my typical NBA betting and found that the odds available for all sports are pretty good, definitely on par with what you'll find at many of the best sites. I think that football and horse racing have the most extensive in-play markets, but other popular sports like tennis, golf, rugby, and basketball have plenty as well. For each game you’ve got an awesome range of stats and info too.
If you click on the “In-play” link on the left-hand menu you get the epic live betting section for BetVictor. For example, I often check out tennis matches and for these games you have a live 2D render, a game commentary feed, and match stats. Live streaming is available and I’ve watched plenty of tennis and footy matches while I’ve been a registered customer here.
I’ve never had any issues with the betting limits at BetVictor. I’m not a big spender by any means, but I know that the betting limits are pretty flexible and you can generally go as high or as low as you want. I think the smallest bet I’ve ever made was £0.20.
I think the BetVictor UK sportsbook is the stronger side of this site and it’s clear that this is the emphasis for the company. The football and horse racing coverage is some of the most detailed I’ve seen and I love that everything from top tier leagues like the EPL, to lower-tier competitions like the Conference are covered. You’ve also got an amazing range of national and international horse races to pick from, together with a decentlive-streaming setup.
BetVictor isn’t short of popular software developers and it has games from the most renowned producers in the industry including Hacksaw Gaming, NoLimitCity, Pragmatic Play, Play’N GO, Big Time Gaming, Blueprint, Red Tiger, NetEnt, Relax Gaming, Playtech, Yggdrasil, IGT, Eyecon, Realistic, Quickspin, Anaxi, Novomatic, and Light & Wonder.
BetVictor UK has one of the best-equipped online casinos I’ve played at and over time I’ve found that they always try to expand their casino offering. The main game categories include:
My favourite is the instant-win arcade section as you have classics like Plinko, Mines, and iconic crash games like Aviator and Big Bass Crash. The selection of daily jackpot slots is also superb and the daily jackpot often exceeds £6,000 on games like 777 Strike, Rainbow Jackpots, and Vault Cracker Megaways.
There’s a link to the live casino in the side menu and this is kept separate from the main casino. I love the layout of the games here as for each thumbnail, you get important info like the minimum and maximum limits, plus the number of active people playing.
In terms of games, you’ve got everything from blackjack and baccarat to roulette and poker. There are multiple versions of most games too such as American and European Roulette.
If you’re a game show fan I think you’ll love the selection. You can play some of the best-known game shows of all time including:
Please note that game limits vary depending on the game type and software developer. However, from my experience, I’ve found that slots can be played with £0.10 to £100 per spin, and table games and games shows range from £0.10 to £2,000 per hand/round/game.
If you’re a live dealer fan then I think you’ll immediately get great enjoyment from BetVictor casino UK as it’s got one of the most varied game shows and table game collections I’ve played. The fact that you can play loads of legendary slots too like Fishin’ Frenzy, Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead, and Cleopatra also helps. As a casino customer, I recommend going with the dedicated casino welcome offer too so you can get your bonus spins and £30 casino bonus.
