Caesars Sportsbook is one of the biggest names in American sports betting and, through a deal with Harrah’s Philadelphia, they now offer bettors the use of a Caesars Sportsbook PA.
We’ve looked at how safe they are, the markets and odds/spreads they offer, their deposits and withdrawal methods, as well as their customer service quality in order to craft this guide on their product. Read on to learn everything you need to know about Caesars Pennsylvania.
Yes! Caesars operates within Pennsylvania as part of a deal with Harrah's Philadelphia. It is this partnership that allows them to legally take sports bets, as Harrah’s is fully licensed with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
We’ve gone beyond just asking the question, 'Is Caesars legal in PA?' We also examined whether Caesars take their responsibilities seriously as a trusted sportsbook. When reviewing Caesars, it was evident that they have very well-established methods to ensure responsible gaming.
The responsible gambling logo features prominently and directs users to helpful advice, links and also the limits that Caesars offers. These include deposit limits, which can be set daily, weekly or monthly, or spend limits that work in the same way. There is also a time limit which allows users to set a limit on how long they can spend on the site each day.
Caesars also offer self-suspension limits, should a bettor want to force themselves to take a break with suspension periods of three to thirty days. Caesars PA is also part of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board’s statewide self-exclusion limits where a bettor can stop themselves using any licensed gaming website.
Due to the partnership with Harrah’s Philadelphia, Caesars sportsbook PA may offer a different welcome bonus to the other states that Caesars operates in. However, we think that everyone will love the Full Caesar promo.
So here, your first bet, should it lose, is on Caesars up to $1,000, plus get 1,000 tier credits and 1,000 reward credits®. Just remember that your first bet must be a minimum of $10 and must settle within 30 days of signing up.
The free credit will be credited within 2 business days of the requirements being met and from there you have 14 days to use it. There is also no requirement to use the Caesars promo code PA, or any need to opt into the bonus listed within the bonuses terms and conditions. All of which should be enough for you to Go Full Caesar this football season!
One thing you have to consider if you’re weighing up using the bonus or not is that whilst you can qualify for the bonus through sports betting, the Caesars free bet can only be used on the casino side.
Unlike the bonuses we found in the Caesars sportsbook review, Caesars sportsbook PA only offers limited bonuses for sports betting. They do have bonuses for their casino products including Risk-Free Thursday and Mystery Mondays where there is a surprise bonus each week. Occasionally, a specific Caesars promo code for PA bettors is needed.
That doesn’t mean there are no benefits to using the Caesars sportsbook. Although the rest of their sportsbook promo codes are affected by the partnership with Harrah’s Philadelphia, they are still a Caesars product, which means you gain access to the Caesars Rewards program. The rewards program offers experiences outside of gaming, such as hotel stays, shopping deals and more.
Caesars sportsbook PA does not offer the same variety of markets compared to their other states. This is mainly due to the association with Harrah’s Philadelphia, which means that Caesars Pennsylvania still uses the older version of the Caesars website and mobile app.
That said, it is still a good offering for most bettors as it nails all the major American sports as well as some big worldwide sports. The NBA, NHL and NFL make up the majority of their main markets, with strong offerings for baseball and college sports too. The rest of their sportsbook is made up of markets on boxing, MMA, soccer and tennis.
For most of the sports they cover, their markets aren’t US limited. Overseas soccer, particularly the Premier League, is a key part of their product, as are most of the biggest boxing and MMA bouts, and the whole ATP tour for their tennis markets.
Within each sport, there are multiple different types of bets available. There are traditional spreads, money lines and total points bets for American sports. There are also more inventive bet types with some special futures and bets such as Asian handicaps and period-related wagers, such as points in the first quarter.
As a general rule, their odds and spreads tend to be competitive amongst their competitors, often providing good value, if not always having the out and out best odds and spreads available.
Caesars Pennsylvania offers a number of different ways to contact their customer service department. Just like what we found in our Caesars Colorado sportsbook review, their website first encourages customers to search through and read the Caesars FAQ section to see if your questions have already been answered.
Should the FAQs not provide an answer, then there are a few different ways to get in touch with the Caesars customer service department.
One of these options is their live chat; this is with an operative rather than some similar setups where it is a set series of questions answered by a bot. This option is completely free and is available from 8am till midnight every day.
Should you prefer talking rather than typing, Caesars also offers a direct phone line to their customer service team. The number is completely toll-free to call and is open to customers from 8am till midnight, the same as the live chat.
Should these two options not work for you, then there is also an email address. This is primarily set up for general enquiries but can also be useful should you need to send documents or submit longer questions. Email support has no set open times, however, it would make sense to assume it operates along with similar time frames to their other two methods.
Caesars PA accepts several different methods for making deposits. These methods are Visa, Mastercard and Discover debit/credit cards, ACH eCheck, online banking, PayNearMe, prepaid Play+ cards, PayPal and also in person using Harrah’s Philadelphia Cage.
Withdrawals are more limited, with ACH eChecks, prepaid Play+ cards, PayPal, online banking and Harrah’s Philadelphia Cage accepted. The Caesars withdrawal time for these methods typically take 1-3 days, with PayPal, online banking and Play+ cards having a minimum withdrawal of $20.
Caesars sportsbook PA is a very solid option for bettors within Pennsylvania. Although the partnership with Harrah’s Philadelphia may lead to it having a more limited offering than the Caesars sportsbooks in other sports.
Despite this, it is still a very good back-to-basics approach which should give it a solid footing within Pennsylvania. The markets offered are great, covering the world’s major sports with plenty of betting options within them. Their odds and spreads are strong and the rewards program offers good discounts and value for a wide range of products beyond typical sports betting bonuses.
