You will have to be at least 18 years old to gamble in Kentucky. This minimum age requirement is a fair amount lower compared to other states where you’ll usually have to be at least 21 years old.
It’s not exactly clear why this is the case, but it could be something to do with Kentucky’s close association with horse racing. But for now, what counts is that anyone over the age of 18 can gamble in the Bluegrass State.
