In my FanDuel review, I explained which legal casino states the brand is available in, and at the time of writing, FanDuel is not legal in Florida. What this means is that you cannot bet on FanDuel in Florida, nor can you play FanDuel games in Florida. The current legal situation in Florida regarding online gambling allows only Seminole entities to operate in the state. Under the current gaming legislation, only the Seminole Tribe entities accept online sports wagers.

When is FanDuel coming to Florida?

FanDuel Florida may not yet be available, but the current legal framework has made inroads into FanDuel being allowed in Florida. The current timeline of online sports betting and casino gaming has seen the Seminole Tribe monopolize online gambling in the state. Any online form of gambling is exclusively provided at Hard Rock Bet. However, should FanDuel and Hard Rock Bet establish a partnership, we could see FanDuel in Florida in the near future.

So, for now, to answer the question – Does FanDuel work in Florida? No, FanDuel does not work in Florida, but this could change in 2025.

New players in eligible states can take advantage of FanDuel Sportsbook’s “Bet $5, Get $200 in Bonus Bets If Your Bet Wins” offer, available from January 26 through February 8. This promotion is open to eligible users aged 21+ (18+ in DC, KY, MD, and restricted states for KS).

Can you still play at FanDuel even if it’s restricted?

No, you cannot, and even if you try to use a VPN to sign up and play at FanDuel in Florida, you will be blocked. There is no workaround to this since the FanDuel sportsbook is not legal in Florida.
