If you are looking for a new sportsbook in Michigan, you may not have considered DraftKings sportsbook MI. So that you don’t miss out on the chance to see what it has to offer, we’ve created this DraftKings Michigan review.
As our reviews are objective and in-depth, you’ll quickly see all the benefits of opening an account, including the DraftKings sportsbook MI bonus, and how easy it is to place a bet either on the website or the app. We’ll give you the full lowdown so you can see how DraftKings Michigan compares to other sportsbooks in the state.
As you might expect, like other sportsbooks in the state, DraftKings Michigan has a bonus for anyone who successfully opens a new account. However, like many of the things that DraftKings does, this is slightly different from what is on offer elsewhere - see the DraftKings New York sportsbook review for comparison. Whereas other operators might give you a straight deposit match, what DraftKings offers new bettors is something a bit more straightforward.
DraftKings’ new welcome bonus sounds even more exciting, as new customers who join DraftKings can now take advantage of an offer that gets them right into the action. The current offer is Bet $5, Get $200 + 3 Months of NBA League Pass!, and it runs until November 29th, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (ET).
To qualify, players must be physically located in an eligible state where DraftKings Sportsbook operates legally — and the good news is that the bonus is available in most states.
This is an unusual take on the welcome bonus that doesn’t need a specific DraftKings promo code for MI new customers to get you started. Advanced bettors who are used to the other ways might take a while to get their heads around this, but new bettors should take to it immediately. You must also meet the age requirement to register and enjoy this offer.

However, both new bettors and old will find the DraftKings sportsbook in MI easy to use. While the colour scheme is not exactly impressive, this will be welcoming to those who are tired of brightly coloured ‘busy’ websites that distract you from the simple business of placing a bet.
This is quite a straightforward process; we’ll go through it in more detail below. But it is as easy as finding your account details, the terms and conditions, and the help pages, which will be of use to you when opening a new account.
The sports are listed along the left-hand side of the screen, and clicking on any of those will bring up the available events on the screen. Selecting one of those will open up all of the available markets for that event. This will include all of the options for different types of bets, and from what we saw, this is as comprehensive as you are likely to find anywhere in the state.
The odds and spreads we observed seemed competitive and were a match for other sportsbooks in the state. While we saw no promotional odds and spreads offered, there is a same game parlay option, which automatically groups any bets on the same event into a parlay to improve the overall odds and spreads.
The live betting markets are set out in the same way as the regular ones, except that they are accessed using the live in-game tab on the home screen. We saw no streaming options for the events that took place while this review was in progress; however, we understand that the option is available for some sports.
The app is easy to use, and the only real issue you may encounter is checking that you have downloaded the right one, as DraftKings has an app each for sportsbook, casino, and fantasy sports. The app is available for both Android and Apple from the usual safe and reliable sources.
With DraftKings Michigan, you will have no shortage of options to fund your account. The usual options of card and bank transfer are available, as are gift cards and Play+. PayPal is also available, as is VIP Preferred, and wire transfers if you are a bit ‘old school’. Good old cash is also an option if you want to pay in at an outlet like your local 7 Eleven or other local store. Credit cards are no longer accepted for deposits on Sportsbook, DraftKings Casino, and GNOG products as of August 25th, but they remain available for Fantasy Sports in areas where permitted.
Online banking is recommended for deposits, as well as for withdrawals - see our DraftKings withdrawal time article for more details. However, if you want, you can also withdraw via PayPal, VIP Preferred, Play+, and Wire transfer, provided you have also used that method to pay in. Alternatively, you can get a check in the mail (although that could take more than a week). Whichever way you choose, you can check the progress from your withdrawal tracker on your account dashboard.
Finding the answer to any queries you have is very simple, as there is an extensive Help section that will solve most of your problems easily. However, if you need answers to more complicated problems quickly, the options are not that extensive. There is no phone support, and the bot-driven ‘live’ support will only redirect you to the FAQs section, so your only option is to leave a message and wait for them to get back to you.
This might not be ideal for some people, but the vast majority of bettors will be able to get what they need from the help section.
DraftKings is available in several states across the country, and this DraftKings Michigan review found out that the answer to the question – ‘is DraftKings legal in MI?’ is a very firm yes. The Michigan Gaming Control Board oversees this operation, and the operator uses geolocation software to make sure that you are physically located in the state before you can access any of the services.
The padlock symbol in the address bar lets you know that SSL encryption is in play and that your data and transactions are secure and private.
As well as the bonus, there are other things for account holders at DraftKings Michigan to benefit from. There is a rewards program where you get ‘crowns’ for your activity on the site, which you can trade in for rewards like site credit. This follows the same pattern as other operators, but what DraftKings has that many other operators don’t is the ‘refer a friend’ program, where you both get a DraftKings bonus bet up to $200.
There are also bonus daily pools to play, as well as the single-game parlay option mentioned earlier. In short, there is always something going on at DraftKings Michigan that you can use to your advantage.
As well as all of these benefits, there are some other things that you can do to get the best from DraftKings Michigan
Your Bonus Bets are issued as $50 every seven days via click-to-claim for 21 days, up to $200, and each batch expires seven days (168 hours) after issuance, so plan your bets ahead. Don’t forget to redeem your NBA League Pass code by December 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
As well as placing wagers for fun, you could also try using +EV betting to try and increase any potential profits.
DraftKings Michigan also offers a casino as well as fantasy sports, all of which get you ‘crowns’.
Not only is everything you need at DraftKings sportsbook, but it’s all pretty straightforward, too. There is an unconventional but easy-to-use bonus with the DraftKings sportsbook promo codes, and a site that performs well on desktop or app. Customer service could have more options, but apart from that, you would be hard-pressed to find something to criticize.
Overall, this is a very good sportsbook, especially for those new to sports betting, and even more advanced bettors will enjoy the many long-term benefits of opening an account.
Regardless of the size of the bonus, there will always be dos and don’ts for getting what you want. To find out what the DraftKings Michigan bonus offer is, and whether or not you’ll need a DraftKings promo code MI to claim it, read our online review.
With all of the changes in legislation in recent years, you might not know what you can legally wager on in Michigan. By reading our online review, you will be able to get the full story on DraftKings Michigan, including all of the details about what services they are licensed to provide in this state.
Both Bitcoin and Ethereum are accepted for many online transactions and are gradually being adopted by online sportsbook operators as well. Our DraftKings sportsbook MI review details all of the payment options, including if cryptocurrency deposits are available at DraftKings in 2026.
