As sports betting has been in Colorado for a couple of years, chances are you are looking for a new sportsbook. If that sportsbook needs to have a great bonus, then you’ll want to read this DraftKings sportsbook CO review.
Even if you are a new bettor, you’ll appreciate how straightforward the bonus is, as well as the easy-to-use site you’ll get access to as soon as you open an account. There are other promotions for you as well, and this review will give you the lowdown on that and everything else you’ll find at DraftKings Colorado.
As you probably know, sportsbooks offer welcome bonuses as a means to attract new customers. You probably also know that even though some of those bonuses have large rewards, they also come with plenty of wagering requirements to be completed in a short period of time. However, that isn’t the case at DraftKings Colorado.
The DraftKings Sports welcome offer: Bet $5, Get $200 + 3 Months of NBA League Pass! If you are new to the DK platform, you can get this offer by placing a first-time bet of $5 or more to receive up to $200 in Bonus Bets. Bettors should note that the bonus will be issued as $50 in Bonus Bets every seven days via click-to-claim for 21 days. Bonus Bets and click-to-claims expire seven days (168 hours) after issuance. Bonus Bets are non-withdrawable, and the stake is not returned in the payout.
Included in the bonus is the 3 Months of NBA league pass, that comes with one promotional code for a complimentary three-month NBA League Pass subscription. The subscription automatically renews monthly at the then-current price unless cancelled. The sportsbook offer ends November 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. The NBA League Pass code must be redeemed by December 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

As with all bonus offers, they can be changed at short notice, so check the T&Cs before signing up to see if anything has changed, or if you need to use a DraftKings promo code CO to activate the offer, which currently you don’t. Overall, this is the kind of bonus that you might welcome after seeing what is on offer elsewhere, even if the reward is quite modest.
Just as the bonus is understated, so is the design of the site. The bright colors used by others do look great at first, but after staring at them for a while, you might welcome the simple color scheme on offer here. The black, grey, green, and white livery makes placing a bet easy (more on that next), negotiating the app straightforward (more on that in a minute, too), and finding key areas of the site simple.
These are areas you’ll need when you first join, like the help/FAQ section, the T&C’s, and your account details dashboard, where you can make deposits and withdrawals. Everything is intuitive and simply set out, making it easy to feel at home very quickly, which is no bad thing.
The best example of this is placing a bet, where all of the sports are down the left-hand side, and the games and markets they open up appear in the middle of the screen. Your selections appear in the betting slip that pops up on the right. All of the major sports are covered, as well as one or two we weren’t expecting, but were very pleased to see: for example, there are a large number of markets available for the Women’s Cricket World Cup.
Even in the less popular markets like these the odds looked competitive, and the ones we could check were a match for other sportsbooks in CO. If you place one or more bets on the same game they can be placed into a same game parlay to boost the odds and lines, or alternatively they might be subject to one of the occasional odds boosts offered by DraftKings Colorado.
The live betting markets are every bit as broad as those you can access before the events start, and you can find them quickly using the live in-game tab, which displays all of the games in progress. What we didn’t find as easily were any details regarding streamed events, although you probably already have a subscription to watch any sport you are likely to place a wager on.
You might do most of your activity on the app, and if you do, you’ll find it just as easy to use as the website, especially using the quick links options to find your favorites and save you time. It’s available for both Android and iOS and is downloadable from their respective app stores.
When it comes to making that first deposit, you’ll have plenty of options available to you. The obvious first pick here is DraftKings’ recommended option of bank transfer. Play+ and VIP Preferred are supported, as is PayPal (which you can fund using a number of different sources). You can also pay cash into a 7-Eleven or send a Wire Transfer if you like to do things the old way. It’s also worth noting that credit card deposits will no longer be supported for Sportsbook, DK Casino, or GNOG beginning August 25, 2025. Fantasy Sports deposits remain unaffected where allowed.
These are credited to your account quite quickly, but the DraftKings withdrawal time will be slower and can take five days to process. Your options here are VIP Preferred, Play+, and PayPal, as well as the recommended bank transfer option. If you want cash, you will be disappointed, because, unlike in New Jersey, you can’t just show up in person at Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk.
Problems should be few and far between at DraftKings Colorado, but those you do have should be cleared up by visiting the help/FAQ section, which is as extensive as any we have seen.
Part of the reason for this is that the FAQ section needs to do quite a bit of the heavy lifting here, as there is no phone support, just an option to leave a message. Even the support icon in the bottom right-hand corner, which you might think is a live chat option, is just another research function for the FAQ section. This might be a deal breaker for some people, but as we mentioned at the beginning, DraftKings has a simple sportsbook operation that does not look prone to too many errors.
DraftKings sportsbook CO operates under the casino license of Twin River Worldwide Holdings and is regulated by the Colorado Gaming Control Commission. It is partnered with Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk, so when taking all of that into account, you can be safe in the knowledge that if anybody asks, ‘Is DraftKings legal in Colorado?’, you can tell them that yes, it is.
Looking more closely at the operation, you’ll see the padlock symbol in the address bar, which means the site is SSL-encrypted for both privacy and security, so your money and data are secure.
Sportsbook will have a loyalty program to keep you interested as time goes on, and there tends to be more in it for those who bet regularly. You collect ‘crowns’ for your activity across the site, and the more of these you gain, the higher you move on the scale and the bigger the rewards you’ll get.
At the lowest level, bronze, you can redeem your crowns for site credits, and as you progress through the levels, you’ll get access to exclusive promotions and priority support. As you work your way up to the highest level (onyx), you get access to live experiences and a dedicated VIP host.
In addition to this and the odds and profit boosts covered earlier, there is also a refer-a-friend program via which you can introduce other people. This involves them joining through your invitation, and you will both receive a DraftKings bonus bet when they make that first deposit.
With the large range of additional benefits, not to mention a very nice welcome bonus, there are very few people who could criticize what is on offer here. New bettors will find it easy to get to grips with, and more experienced bettors will take to it immediately, exploring the huge number of markets along with all the boosts and other offers.
All in all, you should take a look for yourself, as we are confident you’ll find this is one of the most complete online sportsbook experiences you’ll find in this or any other state.
Sports betting regulations have changed a great deal in the last two years. To make sure you are only betting somewhere legal and safe, check out our review, which will tell you if DraftKings is legal in Colorado.
Sportsbook promo codes can be used to activate an offer, but before you go looking for one, you need to find out if one is needed here. By reading our DraftKings USA sportsbook review, you’ll find out everything you need to know about the DraftKings sportsbook CO bonus.
VIP and loyalty programs are not uncommon for sportsbooks, but not all of them are worth your time and effort. To see what happens at DraftKings sportsbook CO, check out our online review.
