Sunday night in Arlington felt less like a result and more like chaos bottled into four quarters and overtime. The Cowboys and Packers traded haymakers in a game that ended 40-40, thrilling for fans, but empty for both teams.
Dak Prescott and Jordan Love combined for 656 passing yards, six touchdowns, and zero interceptions, carving up defenses that looked lost most of the night. George Pickens torched Green Bay for 134 yards and two scores, while Romeo Doubs hauled in three red-zone touchdowns for the Packers.
Micah Parsons had a key overtime sack to save Green Bay from a loss, but neither defense came close to championship form. Dallas still can’t rush the passer, and Green Bay’s supposedly “complete” unit with Parsons gave up 40 points to a banged-up Cowboys offense without CeeDee Lamb.
In the end, both teams walked away unsatisfied. As Rashan Gary put it: “It’s not a win. It’s not a loss. But it don’t feel good.”
Things are getting messy in Baltimore. The Ravens were outclassed 37-20 by Kansas City, and to make matters worse, Lamar Jackson left in the third quarter with a hamstring injury. His status is now a major concern.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs looked like their vintage selves, piling up four touchdown passes and scoring on seven of their first eight possessions. The Ravens’ defense, porous all September, had no answers. Baltimore has now been gashed by the Bills, Lions, and Chiefs in consecutive weeks.
With Derrick Henry and a strong offensive line, the Ravens can still score, but it won’t matter if the defense continues to collapse. At 1-3, Baltimore isn’t finished, but the AFC North won’t wait around. And if Jackson misses time, panic mode could set in quickly.
