Packers vs. Commanders Headlines Thursday Night

The NFL lined up a strong Week 2 matchup, and the Micah Parsons trade turned it into must-watch TV. The Packers looked terrifyingly complete in Week 1, crushing Detroit while Parsons played just 30 snaps. Jordan Love ran a smooth, efficient offense until Green Bay coasted late, and now Lambeau Field gets its first taste of Parsons in prime time.

The Commanders bring plenty of intrigue too. Jayden Daniels, one of the league’s most electric QBs, led Washington to the NFC Championship last year and opened 2025 with a win. The key piece? New addition Deebo Samuel, who looked rejuvenated with 77 yards receiving and a rushing TD in Week 1. If he stays hot, Washington might have pulled off the steal of the offseason.

Green Bay has the higher ceiling, but losing at home after such a dominant opener would sting. For the Packers, this one’s not technically must-win, but it sure feels close.
