The Baltimore Ravens hit rock bottom Sunday, getting blown out 44–10 by the Houston Texans. Playing without Lamar Jackson, Roquan Smith, Marlon Humphrey, and several key starters, the Ravens looked lifeless from the start, trailing 24–3 by halftime as C.J. Stroud threw three touchdowns. At 1–4, Baltimore’s season is spiraling. The defense, once its identity, ranks among the league’s worst, and defensive coordinator Zach Orr could be on the hot seat. With the Rams up next and Jackson’s hamstring still healing, the Ravens are in danger of falling to 1–5 before their bye.
The Buccaneers improved to 4–1 after a 38–35 win in Seattle, sealed by Lavonte David’s tipped interception in the final minute. In Indianapolis, Shane Steichen’s Coach of the Year case grew stronger as the Colts dominated the Raiders 40–6 behind three Jonathan Taylor touchdowns. The Browns lost 21–17 in London but saw promise from rookie QB Dillon Gabriel. Elsewhere, the Saints earned rookie coach Kellen Moore his first win, the Chargers fell flat in Washington, and the Jets dropped to 0–5 after another blowout loss in Dallas. The Eagles’ undefeated run ended in a 21–17 collapse against Denver, while Miami’s defense was shredded again, giving up 206 rushing yards to Carolina’s Rico Dowdle.
