If you’re living in Florida and wondering where you can play casino-style games legally, we’ve got you covered. While you won’t find online casinos in Florida with slot machines, sweepstakes casinos offer a fantastic alternative.
Sites like Stake.us, High 5 Casino and CrownCoinsCasino offer a diverse range of popular slots including Megaways, jackpots, cascading reels and exclusive titles that you won’t find anywhere else. At sweepstakes casinos you’ll use virtual currencies instead of real money, so you can enjoy the fun without spending money. Read on for all the details!
Due to Florida’s restrictions about real money gambling, you won’t find any traditional online casinos available in this state. However, sweepstakes casinos can provide a fantastic alternative to these sites, as they offer hundreds of casino-style games and even the opportunity to redeem your Sweeps Coins for real world prizes. But how do they work?
Well, when you play popular, high-quality slots in Oklahoma, Florida or any other legal state at sweepstakes casinos, you’ll play with virtual currencies like Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, instead of real money. You can use both of these virtual currencies to play the games, but they do function slightly differently. Gold Coins are used just for entertainment purposes, whereas Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for real money prizes. Just keep in mind though that while Gold Coins can be purchased through optional packages, Sweeps Coins can only be won or claimed through bonus offers.
This means that although you can’t win real money at sweepstakes casinos, you do have the opportunity to redeem your won Sweeps Coins for real money prizes. There are a few T&Cs associated with requesting your prize redemption, with the main one being that you must play through all of your Sweeps Coins at least once before they’re eligible for redemption. Furthermore, you’ll need to accumulate a minimum amount of Sweeps Coins before you can request a prize redemption, this can vary from 50 to 100 depending on the sweepstakes casino.
Okay, now that we’ve explained a bit about what sweepstakes casinos are and how they work, let’s move on to some of my favorite slots.
