UFC 311 will kick off the new year as the promotion’s first pay-per-view event of 2025. Below is everything you need to know about the event and its current fight card.
Since it’s still early, not much has been announced about UFC 311, outside of a few reported fights. The PPV event will happen at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, on January 18, 2025.
There's a key rumor for the main event title fight, but it hasn't been officially announced just yet.
UFC 311 currently does not have a main event publicly announced, but the rumor is that Islam Makhachev could be defending his belt against Arman Tsarukyan.
More information should be revealed very soon as we get closer to the event, but the initial rumor is that the headlining title fight involves a rematch between Makhachev and Tsarukyan. Khabib Nurmagomedov recently stated that Makhachev has signed a deal for his next fight, and the Instagram post of their gym has recently posted a poster on the rematch.
It's far from an official announcement, but it's certainly a plausible headliner. Makhachev beat Tsarukyan in 2019, in a fight of the night bout long before they reached the top of the division.
Only a few fights have been confirmed to happen for now. As with the vast majority of UFC pay-per-view cards, we can expect at least one title bout as its headliner. Depending on the strength of that headliner, the co-main event and main card bouts could also be quality bouts worthy of headlining smaller UFC Fight Night events.
Among the notable participants so far include the surging Payton Talbott, and one of the hottest prospects from Japan in Road to UFC Season 1 winner, Rinya Nakamura, who is currently 9-0 in his career. They will be in separate bouts against Raoni Barcelos and Muin Gafurov, respectively.
There is still no official bout order for UFC 311 as of this writing, and only a partial line up has been currently revealed. The available fight card so far is found below.
UFC 311 happens on January 18, 2025 in a yet to be announced location. If you’re wondering about start times and details on how to watch the event, it will have a PPV live stream exclusively on ESPN+ for those in the US.
While not much have been revealed just yet, it is likely that start times remain the same as most UFC PPV events, which you can find below.
