Game developer Wazdan and Bet365 have agreed to form a long-term partnership, under which Wazdan will supply Bet365's online casino in New Jersey with its slot machine products.
While Malta-based Wazdan and Bet365 have previously partnered in many other iGaming markets, this will be their first venture together in the growing US market.
“Bet365 is a highly valued partner with whom we’ve established vast projects across key regulated markets," Izabela Słodkowska-Popiel, Head of Account Management for North and Latin America at Wazdan, said in a press release from the company. "Our launch in New Jersey marks another major milestone in a state that shows rich demand for captivating iGaming content."
Bet365 and Waszdan already have working agreements in place in the UK, Bulgaria, Greece, and Ontario, Canada.
While this is Wazdan's first US venture in partnership with Bet365, the company already holds a presence in both the Michigan and West Virginia online casino markets, through a partnership with Caesars Entertainment. It also has a partnership deal in place for Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania with Fanatics online casino.
After initially entering the US market at a slow and steady pace, Bet365 has been ramping up the expansion of its product across the country since 2024.
"This launch is another significant step in our continued North American expansion, and we look forward to building on our flourishing partnership,” Bet365 said in a statement.
There are currently 13 Bet365 online sportsbooks operating in the US. Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia are home to Bet365 online sports betting sites. Bet365 also has an online casino presence in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Bet365 recently opened a US headquarters in Colorado, hiring approximately 1,000 employees. Recent speculation also suggested that the Coates family, UK-based owners of Bet365 since it launched in the 1970s, is considering going public with the company, or at the very least, having a private equity firm take control of the US end of the operation.
The agreement between Bet365 and Wazdan will see an array of Wazdan’s top-performing and player-favorite slot titles made available to New Jersey players across Bet365’s online platform. This will include new releases such as 36 Coins Grand Gold Edition, Sizzling Eggs Grand Platinum Edition, and 30 Coins Grand Gold Edition.
The slot games provided to the Bet365 online casino library by Wazdan will also be equipped with Wazdan’s engagement-boosting mechanics. These components have proven popular with players for providing stimulating and immersive in-game experiences. Cash Infinity, Hold the Jackpot, and Collect to Infinity are among the industry-leading features within the supplier’s integrated titles.
"We’re excited about the road ahead and look forward to strengthening our global collaboration with Bet365 in both existing and emerging jurisdictions, as we continue to offer premium gaming experiences,” Słodkowska-Popiel said.
When it comes to sheer volume of games, Bet365 is certainly not nearly as abundant as some of its bigger US online casino rivals. However, Bet365 nonetheless proves a popular choice with players because it offers so many unique iGaming experiences.
The company operates an in-house development team. Many of the games offered at the Bet365 online casino are unique to the site. The addition of the Wazdan games will only add to the individuality of the Bet365 online casino.
“We are delighted to partner with Wazdan to bring their exceptional portfolio of games to our players in New Jersey," Bet365 said.
